My computer was stolen from my office Friday. It's so very bad.

Much key stuff was not backed up. My fault. Door was left unlocked too late in the day here at the office. Not my fault. Random acts of evil exist. Not my fault - at least as far as I know.

My palm pilot was recovered, along with my Shuggie Otis CD and my Soul Coughing CD. But my iBook is gone, along with 20 pages of a first draft of a novel, the latest revisions on the musical, 5 months of email, and the latest draft of an article I've been writing.

It is difficult not to feel discouraged. But I'm trying.

Lisa - who was with me when it happened - was really nice.
