ACLU Report: Broken Promises

As the Katrina anniversary nears, ACLU has released this comprehensive report on the state of civil liberties in the gulf and the woeful conditions and lack of planning at Orleans Parish Prison during and after the storm.
Dozens of people at our National office and prisoners’ rights project collaborated to create this document. Along with the report, videographer Carol Cassidy has created a series of thought-provoking interviews from those who’ve suffered. Our ACLU web page was designed by Eric Schoenborn, one of the best web designers I’ve ever seen, and the report itself was designed by Riah Buchanan (who will someday make an excellent parent).
